Awards Manager

Expectations

  • Stay calm and collected throughout the event while also taking and implementing any feedback given by the Directors
  • Remain positive and energetic over long hours (6:00am – 11pm)
  • Remain flexible if asked to perform other responsibilities
  • Must be a team player and customer service oriented
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Aid in the take-down of each event and help pack the truck (1-2 hours). Ability to lift 30lbs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set-up and take down of awards station
  • Retrieve scores every 15 minutes (on your feet for most the day)
  • Prep the awards for each session (counting ribbons, awards buttons, stringing medallions, organizing trophies)
  • Ensure accurate distribution of awards at every session (approximately 5 awards sessions per day)
  • Awards inventory management
  • Hand out awards on stage
  • Prepare the 'toss outs' to be distributed at each awards session (remove labels, sort, etc).
