EMMA KRAUSS

An eager and versatile performer, Virginia Beach native Emma Krauss grew up falling in love with the world of dance, winning awards throughout her youth at various dance competitions. Nailing her very first audition for The Governor’s School for the Arts, high school was where she found herself visualizing and accepting that this was exactly what she wanted to do.  In 2006, Emma found herself migrating to Philadelphia after being accepted into the dance program at The University of the Arts, graduating with honors, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Dance Performance and All Around “Teacher Recognition Award”.

Bridging the gap between school and the professional scene, it was signing with MSA Talent agency her senior year, helping her decided that NYC was the next big thing.  Learning the big city walk and talk brought four years of exciting times and realizations.  Emma landed performances with the likes of Neyo, Dr. OZ show, Nicole Fosse, and The Verdon Fosse Estate.

Education didn’t stop there, she was asked to join the Jacobs Pillow musical theatre summer intensive, working closely with Chet Walker (Fosse dancer, choreographer of Tony Award winning Pippin) and guest choreographers Patti Colombo, AC Ciulla (Footloose movie), and Andy Gale.

Looking to expand her brand and performance opportunities, Los Angeles was sure to be her next big girl move.  Backed up by Go2Talent Agency, her professional credits include The Ellen Show, Erin Condren spring promo video, Pose FX, Listen Up! Movie trailer. As she continues to dive into the ups and downs of the dance industry not excluding teaching (Carousel Dance Studio) and judging competitions, she even dabbles in the fitness world as a Lagree Fitness instructor, working closely behind the man who invented the Lagree method Sebastian Lagree. Detail oriented, quick, and again eager to expand in other avenues of the business Emma is sure to put her best foot forward.
