Awards Manager
Expectations
- Stay calm and collected throughout the event while also taking and implementing any feedback given by the Directors
- Remain positive and energetic over long hours (6:00am – 11pm)
- Remain flexible if asked to perform other responsibilities
- Must be a team player and customer service oriented
- Attention to detail is a must
- Aid in the take-down of each event and help pack the truck (1-2 hours). Ability to lift 30lbs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set-up and take down of awards station
- Retrieve scores every 15 minutes (on your feet for most the day)
- Prep the awards for each session (counting ribbons, awards buttons, stringing medallions, organizing trophies)
- Ensure accurate distribution of awards at every session (approximately 5 awards sessions per day)
- Awards inventory management
- Hand out awards on stage
- Prepare the 'toss outs' to be distributed at each awards session (remove labels, sort, etc).
