*Please make arrangements for props to be removed after your dances. There is no prop storage space available in the Theatre.
IMPORTANT CHANGEROOM NOTE
*Please use the Peterborough Inn & Suites Hotel changeroom space as much as possible to alleviate changeroom space in the Theatre.

STAGE DIMENSIONS
- approximately 30’ deep x 38’ wide
LOADING DOCK
- Located off of Water St. (1 block east of George Street). The dock loads directly onto the stage – so we ask all major props only be loaded right before a performance. The dock is 18” above pavement, 94” high and 93” wide (with no centre post).
PARKING
- 2017 Update: The Water St. lot directly behind the theatre is now private and no longer available for public parking.

DRESSING ROOMS
- Shine has rented hotel rooms at the Peterborough Inn & Suites Hotel (next to the Theatre) to be used as additional dressing room space. This space should be used by dancers who have less frequent changes.
- Dressing room space is also available in the Theatre to be shared by all dancers.
- There is a designated dressing room for boys by Stage Right.
- To avoid congestion:
- Have hair/make-up done.
- please vacate when the room is not needed.
- Parents -- please pack-up all belongings from changerooms if you are leaving after the awards to make room the incoming dancers.
REHEARSAL AREA
- The main dressing room area will be split for rehearsal.
- There is an ‘Upper Lobby’ area that is used for warm-up and rehearsal. This area is very limited and we thank you in advance for sharing.
SHINE SHOP
- Our Shine Shop will be in full operation to get your Shine Dance Merchandise. Please note that we will be accepting only credit or debit cards -- we will not be accepting cash.

Accommodation Rules & Guidelines: The Group and the Hotel will work together to ensure that the Group’s stay is successful; but not at the expense of major damage to the Hotel property or disturbance of other Hotel guests. 1. Direct and responsible supervision is to be provided at all times 2. Absolutely no playing of any sport is allowed in the hallways and no mini sticks are permitted in the hotel 3. All bedroom doors are to be closed after 10pm and hallways are not to be occupied as hospitality areas. Due to Ontario Liquor laws the hallways are deemed public areas and alcohol is not permitted. 4. Furniture is not to be removed from any guestrooms 5. Any damages caused to individual guestrooms will be charged to the credit card number guaranteeing that room. Cost to be determined by the General Manager of the hotel. 6. We strongly recommend that equipement not be left on the balconies. 7. The contact person as signed below will be notified should any member of the team not cooperate with the above guidelines. It is his/her responsibility to ensure their team member are aware of and are responsible to comply with the outlined guidelines. 8. EVENT DETAILS
PROGRAMS
- Programs will be made available for download, free of charge, through our website approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
- Programs will not be sold at the event.
AWARDS PIN
- Every dancer receives a custom Shine Awards Pin to display your ribbons on your Team Jacket! We’ve got one per dancer, so please make sure you pick it up at the Shine Shop.
LIVE STREAMING
- This event will have a live stream available through our website
- A code to watch will be provided soon
FOOD DRIVE
- We are very excited to continue our annual Food Drive where all proceeds are donated to a local food bank. To date, we have collectively raised 22,160 lbs of food!!
- Please remind your dancers to bring at least 2 items of non-perishable food for our drive.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- As a reminder, your entry fees now include all your Studio's photos and videos!
- Media will be available approximately 1 week after the event
